Williams is projected anywhere from the bottom third of the first round to middle of the second round.

Williams provides a massive, mobile interior presence at 6-foot-3, 334 pounds.

Williams recorded 46 tackles, eight for losses and 2 1/2 sacks last season for the national champion Buckeyes despite missing three games with an injury. He was a third-team All-Big Ten Conference selection for the second year in a row.

Two seasons ago, he had 54 tackles, 10 for losses, three sacks and five passes broken up.

His first two seasons in Columbus he was an honorable-mention All-Big Ten Conference selection as he combined for six sacks and nine tackles for losses.

Williams has drawn a lot of comparisons to Alim McNeill, the Detroit Lions’ blue-chip defensive tackle.

Williams is known for his heavy-handed power, quickness and playmaking skills.
