Texas A&M defensive tackle Shemar Turner to visit eight other NFL teams after meeting with Texans, Cowboys: sources

HOUSTON – Texas A&M defensive tackle Shemar Turner visited the Texans and has also visited the Dallas Cowboys, according to a league source.

Turner also has visits with the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals.

The Texans have also hosted Texas A&M defensive linemen Shemar Stewart and Nic Scourton for visits, per sources.

A second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection, Turner recorded 115 career tackles, 24 for losses, 10 sacks, three forced fumbles and two blocked kicks. He had 36 tackles and six sacks in 2023 and 36 tackles, 5 1/2 for losses and two sacks with one forced fumble last season.

A DeSoto graduate, Turner (6-foot-3, 290) was a prep All-American who has 76 tackles and 12 1/2 sacks as a senior.
