Bregman continues to field interest from teams like the Blue Jays, Red Sox, Cubs, and Tigers, with a mix of long-term and short-term options available to him, per sources.

The Astros' latest move, signing left-handed outfielder Ben Gamel to a 1-year deal worth up to $1.2 million gives them the left-handed outfielder the team has searched for all offseason. Gamel will battle for an opening-day roster spot with players like Zach Dezenzo, Taylor Trammell, and Cooper Hummel.

Bringing Bregman back would move third baseman Isaac Paredes to second base, and put Jose Altuve into more opportunities in left field, where he’s been practicing according to the team.
