Azeez Al-Shaair talks life on and off the field ahead of his Texans debut Sunday

Sports Director Randy McIlvoy one-on-one with Azeez Al-Shaair

HOUSTON – We are on the final countdown to the new NFL season and the Texans are more than ready to kick it off on the road where they face longtime AFC South Rival Indianapolis on Sunday.

The two teams kick off at 12 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Texans had a very productive offseason with new additions and one of those is standout Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair who is stepping right in to fill a big hole. Al-Shaair comes to Houston after one season with the Titans but prior to that he was in San Francisco where he played under 49ers Defensive Coordinator and now Texans Head Coach DeMeco Ryans.

KPRC 2 Sports Director Randy McIlvoy sat down with Al-Shaair for a conversation this week at NRG Stadium.
