MEMPHIS, TN – The Houston Cougars overtime thriller left, players, coaches and fans lost for words. That includes the family of Houston star guard Jamal Shead.
“Wow, just wow. That was amazing.” Jamal’s mother Lysa Shead said. “We were clinching for every second, but it was amazing.”
Since Jamal committed to the University of Houston, Jamal has never seen anything less than a Sweet 16 and his family has been with him every step of the way.
“I’m just proud of him. I’m proud of the way all of them have handled it and how Coach Sampson has been pushing them,” his sister, Autumn said.
Shead and his family will be in Dallas this weekend for the Sweet 16 matchup between Houston and Duke.
