CLEMENTS
Fort Bend Clements is undefeated so far this year, led by senior three-star recruit Devine Ugochukwu. The 6-foot-3 combo guard has led the Rangers to an 18-0 record and holds 8 Division I offers. Ugochukwu combines impressive shooting ability with athleticism. Ugochukwu leads the team with 17.6 points per game, and dishes out 6 assists per game.
Clements also has another son of NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon. Aziz Olajuwon is a sophomore and following in the footsteps of his brother Abdullah, who also played at Clements. Abdullah has gone on to play Division I basketball, starting his career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and is now at Detroit Mercy.
Aziz is second on the team in points per game, averaging 13.4.
HIGHTOWER
The Hightower Hurricanes are also one of the best teams in the area, coming in at 12-4. Hightower has a great history of basketball with recent grads like Bryce Griggs, who is currently playing pro ball overseas and Danuel House, Jr., currently on the Philadelphia 76ers.
Hightower is led by Milton Rice, who is averaging 17.5 points per game along with 10.1 rebounds. Rice will be tough to stop inside for the ‘Canes with that double double average.
Hightower is coming into this game on a 5-game win streak.
