Results for Texas 18th Congressional District special election

HOUSTON – Voters in Texas’s 18th Congressional District have cast their ballots on Nov. 4, 2025, to choose who will fill the vacant seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

LATEST: Christian Menefee, Amanda Edwards likely headed to runoff to fill late Congressman Sylvester Turner’s seat

The special election comes after former Congressman Sylvester Turner vacated the seat earlier this year. Several candidates are competing to represent portions of central and north Houston, along with parts of Harris County, in Congress.
