3 juveniles arrested in vandalism cases causing over $215K in damage in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of vandalism cases that caused more than $214,000 in damage to newly built homes in two communities.

Deputies say over the past month, multiple incidents of flooding and destruction were reported in the Harrington Trails and Pinewood neighborhoods. The total estimated damage is $214,474.

On Friday, Sept. 12, deputies responded to a call about suspicious individuals in the area. Two juvenile males matching the description of suspects tied to the vandalism were detained at the scene, officials said.

Detectives later identified a third juvenile believed to be involved. The Montgomery County Attorney’s Office has accepted charges against all three for second-degree felony criminal mischief.

The sheriff’s office said it remains committed to protecting local neighborhoods and is urging residents to report suspicious activity.
