According to the Houston Fire Department, the building housed the Texford Battery Company.

Everyone was able to get out before firefighters arrived and no one was hurt.

However, firefighters were forced to fight the fire from outside the building because of lithium batteries within the building. Hazmat was called to the scene as well.

While the fire is under control, officials say the building suffered significant structural damage.

Firefighters will remain at the scene for a while and continue to monitor it.
