Body found in impounded vehicle registered to Houston singer D4vd identified as 15-year-old girl

The decomposing corpse recovered from an impounded vehicle registered to Houston-singer D4vd has been identified as a 15-year-old girl.

According to a report from NBC News, forensics identified the victim as Celeste Rivas. Her cause of death has not been confirmed at this time.

Rivas’ body was discovered on the morning of Sept. 8, after officers received a report about a foul odor coming from a Tesla at a tow yard in Los Angeles.

According to a report from TMZ, the victim’s mother claimed she had “Shhh” tattooed on the inner pointer finger of her right hand, a tattoo that D4vd has also been pictured with in the same spot. KPRC 2 has not been able to confirm this rumor.

After the body was discovered, the vehicle was discovered to be registered to David Anthony Burke, who goes by the stage name D4vd, in Hempstead, Texas.

At just 20 years old, Burke has accomplished worldwide fame, with his viral hits “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide” each tallying over 1.5 billion streams.
