The Sugar Land Police Department shared the eye-grabbing photo of the gator, which was spotted on SH 6 just north of Highway 90.

“Looks like this 8-foot fella didn’t get the memo about Labor Day last night,” Sugar Land PD said in the Facebook post. “Not your typical holiday traffic stop, but rest assured our VIP was safely escorted off the road and back into a suitable habitat.”
