Search teams respond after adult goes missing in Lake Conroe

Authorities are beginning search efforts in Lake Conroe after an adult was reported missing in the water.

The incident happened Friday afternoon near the Atkins Creek area and was announced by the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office.

The circumstances of the missing report are not clear at this time, but multiple agencies are investigating and those in the area are asked to practice caution.
