A woman was killed by her partner who is now dead after turning the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide at a northwest Harris County home on Thursday.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported that the shooting took place at a home, located in the 9700 block of Pine Pass Drive.
According to HCSO, the 48-year-old man shot the 30-year-old woman, but she was able to call 911 for help.
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead.
The man was also pronounced dead.
