HOUSTON – Authorities are investigating a deadly crash in southwest Houston, where one driver is being questioned for possibly driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning.

It happened around 3 a.m. when the Houston Fire Department reported a deadly two-vehicle crash on W. Bellfort Avenue and South Sam Houston Parkway W.
It’s unclear how the accident unfolded, but first responders said there was one occupant in each vehicle, one of whom was found dead on arrival. The other was being questioned for showing intoxication signs.

No additional information has been shared, as of this writing, but police said the individual showing DWI signs was being processed and will face charges if an investigation confirms their suspicions.
