HOUSTON – A ground stop has been issued at Bush Intercontinental Airport due to thunderstorms Friday afternoon.
The ground stop at Bush was first scheduled to last from 5:03 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., but it has since been extended to 10:30 p.m.
According to the FAA advisory, the ground stop at Bush is affecting only United Airlines flights, per the airlines request. All other flights are unaffected.
