Houston Restaurant Weeks raises more than $2 million, shares early look at 2025 menu

Houston Restaurant Weeks announced it raised more than $2 million for the Houston Food Bank during its 2024 event and kicked off the first round of restaurant menus for this year’s highly anticipated fundraiser.

The final total was $2,013,318, bringing the event’s lifetime fundraising amount to more than $22.5 million since it began 21 years ago. That money has helped provide over 68 million meals to food-insecure Houstonians, according to event organizers.

“I have heard from many of this year’s participants how important Houston Restaurant Weeks is this year,” said Katie Stone, president of The Cleverley Stone Foundation.” The industry faces many challenges, and this event allows us all to rally and support the hundreds that are on-board. This event was created by my mother, Cleverley Stone, to rally diners and “Dine out & Do Good.” We are Houston Strong – and better together!”

Houston Restaurant Weeks will return August 1 through September 2 with specially priced, multi-course menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner, all benefiting the Houston Food Bank.

The Cleverley Stone Foundation continues that work today by producing Houston Restaurant Weeks and other charitable events benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
