HOUSTON – The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced its $500,000 commitment to aid in the recovery efforts and rebuilding of the Texas Hill Country floods.
The catastrophic floods have claimed the lives of at least 120, including children, with more than 160 still missing.

Here’s what RodeoHouston posted Thursday in regards to the deadly floods:
“In response to the devastating flooding in Central Texas, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is committing $500,00 to aid in the recovery efforts and help rebuild the communities and places that shape our state’s future.
“We remain steadfast in our dedication to supporting our neighbors, recognizing that the strength of our communities today rebuilds the foundation for the generations of tomorrow.”
