The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says this happened at 18900 Spokane Falls Trl and Yuma Hills Circle. The address is in a new neighborhood in the far northeast part of Harris County, north of Crosby.

Details on the crash are limited at this time, but preliminarily, HCSO Sgt. Beaty said four little girls were involved in the incident. It is believed one of the riders, 14, had a two-year-old girl on her lap while two others, believed to be 9-years-old were on the ATV, which investigators said is meant for one occupant.

The four were going down the street when they lost control, and all four were thrown from the vehicle.

All of the children, except for the 2-year-old, were flown to Texas Children’s Hospital. It’s unclear if the toddler was hurt, but Sgt. Beaty said the parent refused transportation.

No additional information has been shared, as of this writing, but an investigation remains underway.
