HOUSTON – Authorities in northwest Houston need your help finding a man seen on video robbing a smoke shop.

It happened on Sunday, June 8, when the Houston Police Department said an unidentified man walked into the shop on West TC Jester near The Heights.
Investigators said the man dressed in all black then walked up to the counter, handed an employee a note demanding money, “while threatening to harm her.”
The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by threat. On Sunday, June 8, 2025, at around 3:30 pm, an unknown male walked into a smoke shop, located at the 1900 block of West TC Jester, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the counter and handed the employee a note demanding the money while threatening to harm her. The suspect then walked around the counter and removed the money from the cash tray. The suspect then fled on foot. Houston PD #747258-25 Several hours prior to the incident, the same male walked into the store while acting like a customer. He was then seen on surveillance video walking around the counter and taking money from the cash tray in the register before leaving the store.
HPD said several hours before the robbery, the same man walked into the store in regular clothes, while posing as a customer.
