HOUSTON – It will be a busy weekend for Houston airports as a surge of fans are flying into town ahead of Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Tour this weekend.

“Houston shows up when Beyoncé comes home,” said Jim Szczesniak, director of aviation for Houston Airports. “We’re expecting an influx of fans from across the country and beyond. In 2023, we saw a TSA checkpoint throughput spike of 11% on the Monday after her show and 7% the following Tuesday. We’re ready for the BeyHive.”

Houston is the only Texas stop for the Cowboy Carter Tour, drawing fans from across the region.

Houston Airports are also leaning in with a special “Cowboy Corner” pop-up experience, which will feature vibrant digital signage, Instagrammable backdrops and activities.

Dates of pop-up experience: Thursday, June 26; Friday, June 27; Monday, June 30. Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
