SPRING, Texas – A double murder that shook a Spring neighborhood has resulted in the arrest of a suspect, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
The suspect, Benjamin L. Frakes, 39, was arrested following a warrant service at the Dog House Poker House in the 27100 block of Northwest Freeway.

Frakes has been charged with two counts of capital murder in connection to the double homicide. During his arrest, the suspect was found in possession of Xanax and cocaine.
What happened?
Sheriff Ed Gonzalex says the discovery was made On May 16 when a concerned neighbor checked on the couple at their home on Fitzwater Drive.
The neighbor said they hadn’t heard from them and decided to see if everything was OK.
Deputies said both victims had suffered from fatal gunshot wounds. There was also a small-caliber pistol inside the house, and there was damage to the back door.

Neighbors said they heard gunshots the night before.
The victims and suspect identities have not been released at this time.
