PASADENA, Texas – An employee at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is wanted for debit card abuse involving an elderly victim, according to charging documents.
Jaina Bishop, 41, an employee at Bayshore Hospital, allegedly stole the debit card of an 87-year-old woman who had been admitted to the hospital on March 10.

The discovery was made when the victim’s daughter noticed several transactions had been made on her mother’s Shell Federal Credit Union debit card while she was admitted to the hospital.

According to the charging documents, Bishop used the stolen debit card at several locations, including Kroger, for a total of $380.37.
Surveillance video also showed Bishop making the purchases with the card, which matched the amount charged to the card.

It is unclear what her current employment status is or what role she held at the hospital.
The case was investigated by the Pasadena Police Department.
