HOUSTON – A group of young men is being tied to a string of robberies targeting businesses in north Houston, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
The police department released surveillance video of the suspects during a robbery on May 9.

At around 8:45 p.m., the video shows three men walking into a fast-food restaurant located in the 1100 block of Rankin Road. The men initially acted like customers and then walked around the counter as one of them placed his hand into his backpack while threatening to harm the employee, police said. The employee backed away as the suspects removed money from the cash drawer.
The suspects left the location in an unknown direction.
