Major crash closes intersection at FM 359 and FM 723 in Fort Bend County

HOUSTON – A major crash closed a busy intersection Friday morning in Fort Bend County, according to the Fort Bend County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office.

The crash was reported around 10 a.m. at the intersection of FM 359 and FM 723.

The cause of the crash is being investigated. The extent of injuries is unknown.

The intersection will likely be closed for several hours as crews work to clear the area.

The Lamar Consolidated Independent School District is aware of the traffic delay.
