The fire started on the roof of a Lineage Company in Pasadena at 10585 Red Bluff Road, near Bay Area Boulevard.

Authorities say workers were doing maintenance or installation work when the solar panels on the roof suddenly caught fire.

Pasendena Fire Department has not confirmed that this was what caused the fire.

Sky 2 video from the scene shows visible damage to the solar panels, which appear to have been charred in the flames. PFD managed to extinguish the fire.

Although the flames are out, officials say you might still see emergency crews in the area as they continue their investigation.

We’ll update if any new info comes in about what caused the fire or whether the workers were injured, though so far, no injuries have been reported.
