The IMDb description for the show says it “Features eight singles from the 90 Day universe who are ready to embark on a quest for love once again, joined by fresh, new faces and romantic hopefuls.”
Dr. Calabrese served as the principal at the school from 2022 until Oct. 2024, when she was placed on administrative leave. HISD was vague about the circumstances for the move, and several weeks later, she was recommended for termination.
OUR FIRST REPORT: Houston ISD’s Harvard elementary principal placed on leave as parents rally in support
Known as “Dr. C” among students, she was popular with both staff members and parents of students at the school, and her dismissal was met with criticism from the community.
An email to KPRC 2 responding to an inquiry on Dr. Calabrese being placed on leave including the following: “As part of the culture, we expect our employees to show up for their scheduled workday... When any employee fails to meet these basic expectations, it is standard practice to put them on leave while HR completes an investigation into their behavior.”
Parents demanded answers and transparency from the district, and the outrage reached a boiling point when the principal hired to replace Dr. Calabrese stepped down before her first day, citing “extensive bullying” on social media.

It is unclear whether or not Dr. Calabrese’s dismissal is correlated with her appearance on the show.
