Under an agreement reached between Frisco ISD and Anthony’s family, he will not be allowed to attend any graduation activities or the final stretch of school for his senior year, but he will be allowed to receive his diploma.

As part of the requirements in the deal, Anthony has also maintained a 3.7 GPA, NBC DFW reports.

He has been charged with murder in connection with an incident on April 2 at a school track meet in Frisco. Anthony is accused of fatally stabbed 17-year-old Austin Metcalf.

Anthony admitted to arresting officers that he stabbed Metcalf, but he claims that he did so in self defense.

He was released from jail on $250,000 bond after it was lowered from the original amount of $1 million.

In the weeks following the stabbing, officials with Frisco Police Department warned of misinformation surrounding the case circulation on social media.
