It’s unclear what side of town the chase originated from and where it ended up, but video shows a short part of agents tailing Castillo-Garcia’s video. It concludes with Castillo-Garcia out of his car and facedown in the grass with an officer putting the cuffs on him, and he is assisted shortly afterward by another agent.
Agents said Castillo-Garcia, of Mexico, has a lengthy rap sheet with convictions dating back more than 20 years. Starting with arson in December 2000 and most recently, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in March 2023.

He was also previously removed from the United States about three times, once in March 2007, May 2011, and again in January 2020.
“This case shows exactly why DHS has prioritized border security and why we’ve ramped up enforcement efforts,” ICE Houston said in its post.
