HPD is investigating after a teenager was killed in a car crash on West Fuqua St.

Southwest Houston – According to Houston Police, an investigation is underway involving two juveniles after a 14-year-old was killed in a car crash in Southwest Houston.

Officers said that three juveniles were in the vehicle that was headed west on Fuqua Street near Buffalo Speedway when the driver lost control of the SUV and hit a tree.

Investigators said that the 14-year-old passenger died at the scene. Officer said that the other two juveniles, the driver and front -seat passenger, initially fled the scene but later returned.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing possible charges of failure to stop and render aid.
