According to the Houston Police Department, officers were called out to a home on 3600 Mainer around 4:45 a.m. On Sunday.
Officers said when they arrived the found a man who had been fatally shot. Officers said that preliminary information indicates that the residents of the home invited coworkers over for a gathering that involved alcohol. Investigators said there was some type of an incident between the victim and one of the residents which led to the shooting.
