Investigators said a man was loitering at a hotel on the east Freeway service road and Centerwood Drive.
Investigators said that hotel security asked the man to leave but he later returned. Houston Police said the man was shot by another man at the hotel.

According to police, the suspected gunman told officers that he shot the man out of self-defense and claimed the other man had made threats against him.
Police are still investigating the incident; no charges have been filed.
