It all started around 11 p.m. at the corner of Long Point Road and Woodvine Drive, where Lt. R. Willkens with the Houston Police Department said an unidentified woman was found shot to death, and the man was seriously hurt a couple of blocks away.
Lt. Willkens said the man, despite being shot several times, walked and was able to get help from a business nearby before emergency crews rushed him to a hospital in serious condition.

Witnesses told police someone came by and shot the two several times before taking off, but it’s unclear if it was a drive-by or if the shooters ran up to them.
Because no shooters are in custody and police do not have a motive, they’re asking for anyone with information to come forward by calling HPD or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
