More than $100K worth of stolen luxury sports cars recovered in NW Harris County

A theft ring allegedly responsible for stealing more than $100,000 worth of luxury sports cars has been uncovered in northwest Harris County.a

In April 2025, deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office received information about a major auto theft operation. The investigation involved thorough traffic stops and obtaining search warrants for property and data.

On May 3, deputies said they located the thieves, identified as Britton Molina, 25, and Jency Jimenez-Diaz, 25, at a residence in Cypress.

Deputies recovered over $100,000 in stolen luxury sports cars, which will be returned to their rightful owners.

Both suspects were booked into Harris Co. Jail and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, tampering with identification numbers, and forgery on a title document.

Molina’s bond was set at $10,000, and Jimenez-Diaz’s bond was set at $12,000.

“The investigation is currently active, and additional charges are expected,” Constable Mark Herman said.
