In a screenshotted letter from the school Principal Juan Ramirez, disciplinary action was taken, and officials are cooperating with the investigation, but are not sharing the student’s identity.
“We understand this is unsettling news, but please rest assured, the situation has been addressed with the seriousness it deserves,” the letter reads. “Because federal law protects student privacy, I am not at liberty to share further details, but it is important for you to know the situation is under the control of the appropriate school administrators and law enforcement officials.”
