It’s almost that time! At long last, the first day of the 2025 NFL Draft is here, and we will be seeing 32 football dreams coming true tonight. One of which—we hope—will be beginning in Houston!
The Houston Texans currently hold the 25th overall selection in the draft, but whether or not they’ll stick-and-pick in that spot is far from a guarantee. Trades are somewhat common on draft day, and Texans General Manager Nick Caserio has never shied away from moving up and down the board to maximize value.
Michael is a Kingwood native who loves visiting local restaurants and overreacting to Houston sports. He joined the KPRC 2 family in the spring of 2024. He earned his B.A. from Texas A&M University in 2022 and his M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023.
