A person riding a motorcycle has been killed after getting into an accident on I-45.
The collision happened just after 5 p.m. Thursday on the I-45 Freeway near Crosstimbers Street.

The motorcyclist was driving northbound in the HOV lanes when they struck a pole. Since the accident happened in an HOV lane, the Houston METRO Police Department is investigating the situation.
Our Sky2 Chopper was over the scene of the accident, capturing the rider’s motorcycle destroyed on the road.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
