The car was last seen at Firestone Complete Auto Care.

Detectives soon learned that Enterprise Rent-A-Car has over 40 active stolen vehicle cases across Texas from the past 18 months, many involving Chevy and GMC SUVs with an estimated total value of more than $2 million.

With assistance from Enterprise’s investigative team, LCPD began looking into the possibility of an auto theft ring.

Their investigation led to the identification of two suspected stolen vehicle processing locations, one in Brazoria County and another in Fort Bend County.

On April 17, LCPD detectives and multiple other departments executed simultaneous search warrants at both locations.

The operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the recovery of four stolen vehicles, among them was the Suburban stolen from League City.

Two vehicles were reported stolen from the Houston area, and one was reported stolen out of Tennessee.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional suspects may be involved. Information on the suspects is not being released at this time.

Anyone with information relevant to the case, or who believes they may be a victim, is urged to contact LCPD Detective Evans at 281-554-1863.
