What started as a normal night at a north Houston smoke shop quickly turned dangerous when seven young suspects stormed the counter, swiped merchandise, and hurled a fire extinguisher at an employee before taking off.
It happened on Friday, December 20, 2024, around 10 p.m. at a shop in the 16200 block of Imperial Valley. Investigators say seven men entered the store acting like customers before jumping the counter and grabbing smoke products from display cases.
Before leaving, one of the suspects threw a fire extinguisher at an employee. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. The group then took off in an unknown direction.
Police have released descriptions of the suspects, all believed to be suspects between 15 to 18 years old, wearing a mix of jackets, hoodies, and pullovers, including one in pink shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
