HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to piece together what led up to a deadly shooting Tuesday night in north Harris County.

It happened a little before 10:30 p.m. when sheriff’s deputies said they were called to Hamill and Homestead Road off the Eastex Freeway.

That’s where officials said they found a man shot and rushed him to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Investigators at the crime scene said they questioned a few witnesses, but no one actually saw the shooting, so they are asking anyone with information to come forward by calling Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
