Two people are dead and another is in the hospital after what Pasadena police are calling a murder-suicide late Thursday night.
The shooting happened at a home on Sandlehurst Drive near Burke Road around 10:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they were met by people outside the home who told them a man had shot two women and then took his own life.
Inside the home, officers found the man and one woman dead. A second woman had been shot near her head and shoulder, according to police. She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Police say at least two of the people involved are in their 40s. Investigators believe the shooting was a domestic violence incident, though they’re still working to determine the relationships between everyone involved and the motive behind the shooting.
Officers are continuing to interview witnesses and gather evidence as the investigation continues.
