It’s called the Fresh Start Program and Harris County said the goal is to reduce recidivism, meet their basic needs, and make communities safer.

Eligible people would get their criminal records sealed and the county would help them integrate into the community.

There are 300 spots available and no waitlists are available.

The next event date is May 3 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Harris County Jury Plaza.
