Over the weekend, a constable from Mark Herman’s Office helped save a child who fell into a pool and stopped breathing.

The call originally came in for Harris County Sheriff’s Office, but due to the distance they wouldn’t be able to arrive on time. Which is when they asked Precinct 4 for assistance.

The child was brought back to consciousnesses and transported a local hospital.

Officer Garcia will be credited for saving the child’s life.
