A crash involving a train and an 18-wheeler has caused significant traffic disruptions near the intersection of Hwy 249 and FM 1774.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says multiple lanes are currently closed, and several nearby intersections—particularly in the Misty Meadows area—are blocked by the stopped train. Emergency crews are on the scene and working to clear the area.
Drivers in the area should expect heavy delays and are advised to seek alternate routes if possible. There is no estimated time yet for when the roads will fully reopen.
