Investigators said the nightclub didn’t have a license to serve alcohol and were tipped off they was serving alcoholic drinks and after 2 a.m., which is against the law.

HPD and various other agencies arrested 12 people, including four bartenders, two managers, the club owner, and two unlicensed security guards. Three patrons were arrested with outstanding warrants.

Police said the nightclub has had after-hour violations in the past.

“We’re going to be getting in touch with the owner of the real property here, the owner of the strip center, informing him that there’s an illegal club operating on his property and then require him to bring that property into compliance,” said Captain Watson with the Houston Police Department.
