Deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 4 responded to the call on Cold Snow Drive, where they detained the man, later identified as Tarik Exavier Jammer, and the teen.

The investigation revealed that the girl had met Jammer online while playing video games, and she ran away from California at the age of 14 to be with him. The two had been in a sexual and romantic relationship since then.

The teenager was taken to a safe facility and is now awaiting reunification with her family. Jammer was arrested and charged with sexual performance of a child. The investigation is ongoing, with potential for additional charges.

Jammer is currently in custody at the Harris County Jail, and his bond and court information are still pending.
