Houston Med Spa owner arrested for operating business without license, purchasing fake medication

HOUSTON, Texas – A Houston med spa owner has been arrested and charged after court documents allege she was operating her business without a license and purchasing counterfeit medication.

Aseel Al Tameemi, 45, was arrested on Wednesday, April 9, and charged with practicing medicine without a license. She has since been released on a $100 bond.

According to court documents, Al Tameemi is the owner and manager of the Lilac Touch Med Spa located in the 3300 block of S Gessner Rd. Records show the med spa has been operating without a proper license since 2020.

Al Tameemi is due back in court on April 17.
