Man’s death at Montgomery County home believed to be a homicide

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Investigators have identified a man who was found dead at a Montgomery County home Saturday.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year- old Don Dixon Jr. was found dead inside the home in the 15000 block of Hayden Road in the Conroe area on Saturday.

Deputies responded at approximately 1:52 p.m. Saturday for a welfare concern at the home and found Dixon dead inside.

His body was sent off for an autopsy to determine the method and cause of death. On Monday, investigators said the circumstances surrounding Dixon’s death lead them to believe it was the result of a homicide.
