HOUSTON, Texas – A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged after deputies said he hit a 14-year-old riding a bike in northwest Harris County Friday morning.
Jamarcus Jefferson has since been charged with a DWI and failure to stop and render aid.

Deputies with Harris County Precinct 1 Alan Rosen’s office said that Jefferson hit the teen while driving on Maywood Forest, and instead of stopping and helping the teen, he left the scene.
Fortunately, the teen was not seriously injured.
Deputies were able to track down Jefferson and arrest him.
