HOUSTON – Tempers flared in the second quarter of Wednesday night’s game between the Houston Rockets and the Phoenix Suns, leading to a player from each team being ejected after a bodyslam on the court.

The incident started with just over three minutes left in the second quarter. Rockets’ guard Jalen Green buried a midrange shot from the right side of the court. As Houston’s Steven Adams began to get back on defense, he ran into Phoenix’s Mason Plumlee, and the two got physical.

The referees blew the whistle when the two big men got in each other’s faces, but they didn’t back down. Adams is seen lifting Plumlee from his feet, and the two wrestle to the hardwood.

Officials were finally able to separate the two. Upon further review, each team was assessed a technical foul, and both Plumlee and Adams were ejected from the game.
