HOUSTON, Texas – An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in northwest Houston on Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to a home located in the 5100 block of Emma Forest Street near Pinemont Drive around 7:45 a.m.

One man was detained at the scene, but it’s unclear if he will face charges. How the woman died has not yet been disclosed.
